Favorite Cocktail: Mandarin Vodka Soda

Something only a local would know about San Diego: Hash House a Go Go has some of the BEST breakfast in town. (Hillcrest: 3628 Fifth Ave.)

Did you always want to be a television reporter?
Yes! I remember as a kid practicing in front of the mirror.

What steps did you take to get to where you’re at now?
Where do I start? ...While attending college at the University of Houston, I interned at a few major television stations where I learned how to become a great storyteller with the use of words and video. I then had to be willing to work in very small markets like Boise, ID; Wichita Falls, TX; Waco, TX, and Wichita, KS.

What would you be doing if you weren’t lucky enough to be on the news?
I would probably be in the Fashion industry hoping to become a top fashion designer like Tom Ford.

What’s the most embarrassing moment on air?
I have so many... here are a few. I broke my wrist after getting attacked by a dog. I ripped my pants without wearing underwear. I yelled SHIT on LIVE Television while riding a bull in East County.

Worst job you’ve had?
I would have to say working at Chick-fil-A at the age of 15. I was the guy dressed up in the CHICKEN suit passing out chicken samples in the mall.

Favorite part of your job?
I love entertaining viewers and making them laugh.

Worst part about of your job?
I hate waking up so damn early!

Do you get recognized on the street?
Yes... it's something I don't seek, but definitely appreciate the love.

Tell us something about yourself that a lot of your viewers don’t know about you?  Almost everyday after work I eat lunch naked in bed. "TMI"

If you were stranded on a desert island and can choose three people to be with, who would they be?
He-Man, Curious George, and Alvin from "Alvin and the Chipmunks". They were all my favorite cartoon characters as a kid.

Who decides where you go in the mornings?
Actually myself! I book and produce all the segments you see.

How’s the weight loss program working out?
Don't even bring this topic up! I'm like Oprah who struggles with their weight on a daily basis. You gotta have love for the BIG boys!

What’s the toughest part of maintaining a diet?
Putting down the burrito's, ribs, pizza, fried steak, and a whole lot more.
