Air Conditioned Lounge

4673 30th St.
(between Adams Ave & Madison Ave)
San Diego, CA 92116
(619) 501-9831
www.AirConditionedLounge.com

Since its opening in May of 2004, AIR CONDITIONED has set itself apart from the crowded San Diego nightlife scene by staying true to what it really is: a neighborhood lounge. People from all parts of the county make the trek to the little nightspot on the border of North Park and Normal Heights to get away from the congestion and mayhem often found downtown or at the beach. AIR CONDITIONED is the premiere (seriously) dive dance lounge in San Diego. By virtue of our name, we try and stay cool. But as fate would have it, the spotty air conditioning and the multitudes of dancing bodies keep it quite hot in here. The DJs are without peer, the drinks are strong and the staff rocks. Come on down and see what's inside the most unassuming building on 30th Street.
We offer bottle service and offer both a shagedelic sunken living room that seats 12 and the more secluded Freon Room that has room for 20 party-goers for you to enjoy it in.
Happy Hour is Monday thru Friday from 4 to 7pm. 1/2 off everything. Featuring DJ Jack Tripper and DJ Scotto.
Additional locations of AIR CONDITIONED are located in Santa Monica and Venice.

Tap Room

1269 Garnet Ave.
(between Everts St & Fanuel St)
San Diego, CA 92109
(858) 274-1010
www.PbTapRoom.com

Garnet Avenue can be a tough grind for a new bar. There’s plenty of seasoned competition, and college kids can stay married to a favorite happy hour or late night hot spot for years without venturing through the doors of a new establishment. Sometimes it seems like you have to perfect some mysterious combination of discount taco nights, flashy eighties rocker bands, comedy acts, or free cheesy dip just to stay out of the red.
Or not. Sometimes you just have to serve good beer. At the PB Tap Room, the plan for success is to serve up a simple no-fuss homemade pizza-and-salad menu alongside fresh local brews. Plenty of wall-mounted flat-screen TVs and exuberant (but canned) music complete the picture.
PB Tap Room is definitely not a microbrewery, but it does serve 35 local brews from AleSmith Brewing Company, Stone Brewing Company, Ballast Point Brewing Company, Green Flash Brewing Company, Port Brewing Company, Karl Strauss and Coronado Brewing Company.
Padded red and black booths line the wall at the PB Tap Room, and long red tables and chairs fill the back end. Belly up tables by the big open windows in front are key for checking out the foot traffic and perennial traffic mess on Garnet. A functional bar extends through the entire length of the place, with a semi-attached island that creates a cozy dam between the booths and the main floor. Distressed-looking murals feature images of Coronado Bridge, Crystal Pier, Petco Park and the Gaslamp District.
Happy Hour is Monday thru Friday from 3 to 7pm with $3.50 Pints/Cocktails/Wine,
$12 Pitchers/Wine Bottles, & $2 off all appetizers.
